Peer to Peer Project
In September 2024, SCVAN was awarded a sub-grant through the National Center for Victims of Crime as a pilot program to establish and expand peer-to-peer support for crime survivors.
Do you run a P2P group and want to partner with us?
Email our Victim Access Coordinator, Michelle Hughes, for more information: michelle@scvan.org.
Our organization plans to use this funding to establish peer-to-peer support programs throughout the state as well as develop an online directory of existing resources. We serve South Carolina victims of crime daily and have had so many victims tell us that the need is great but lacking throughout our state. Our goal is to fill the gaps in peer-to-peer group offerings throughout the state.
Are you a victim of crime looking for a peer to peer support group?
Fill out this interest survey and we will let you know if there is a group near you!
