SCVAN Legal may also discontinue the website or related services at any time.

9. Choice of Law and Arbitration

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any legal action arising from or relating to these Terms and Conditions must be filed in a state or federal court located in South Carolina. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

Any controversy or claim arising from or relating to your use of SCVAN Legal, these Terms and Conditions, or any alleged breach of these Terms and Conditions will be resolved through binding arbitration before one arbitrator knowledgeable in computer and cyberspace law.

The arbitration will take place in Columbia, South Carolina, and will be conducted under the then-current Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association.

The arbitrator's decision will be binding and may be entered as a judgment in any court with jurisdiction.

Each party will be responsible for its own costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees and expenses, associated with the arbitration. The arbitrator will not have authority to award punitive damages.

10. Integration and Severability

These Terms and Conditions, together with any supplemental rules posted on the system and incorporated by reference, constitute the complete agreement between you and SCVAN Legal regarding your use of the website.

These Terms and Conditions supersede all prior proposals, understandings, and agreements, whether oral or written, relating to the subject matter addressed here.

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be invalid, void, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

The invalid or unenforceable provision may be replaced with a lawful provision that most closely reflects the original intent of the provision.
