I am a victim of nonconsensual intimate imagery (also known as “revenge porn”). What can I do?

If someone has shared or threatened to share an intimate image or video of you without your permission, you have options. Under the 2025 Take It Down Act, you can report the content to the website, app, or social media platform where it was posted. Platforms must provide a simple way to request removal and are generally required to remove nonconsensual intimate images within 48 hours after receiving a valid request. For more information about this act, you can read this manual for advocates. If these pictures were taken before you turned 18, you can go to the Take It Down website for additional help. If you were over 18 when the pictures were taken, you can go to the Stop NCII website for additional help.
